GzLegends 8-Ball World Cup – Official Rules   Welcome to the GzLegends 8-Ball World Cup. Please read the following rules carefully before registering. A. Tournament Structure 1. Group Stage The Group Stage will be played using a Home & Away format. The top two countries with the highest number of points will qualify directly for the Final. A Third Place Match may be be held if necessary. 2. Final The Final will consist of one match only. 3. Match Day All World Cup matches will be played on Sunday. B. Team Registration Each country must register a minimum of 10 players and a maximum of 12 players. Each country must have at least 6 native players. If a country has fewer than 6 native players, it cannot use its country name. Its players will play for one of the regional teams: AL (Latin America) RW (Rest of the World) We will open another topic about Foreign players. C. Match Format Group Stage First Rounds: 6 Players / 7 Frames Last Two Rounds: 7 Players / 8 Frames Final 9 Players / 10 Frames D. Regional Teams (AL & RW) A separate registration topic will be opened for players who cannot represent a national team. Players will be assigned as follows: AL (Latin America): Latin players. RW (Rest of the World): All non-Latin players. Each regional team (AL and RW) will have its own Championship Organizer (CP). The CPs will be elected by community voting before the tournament begins. E. Nationality Rules Latin and European players are not allowed to represent an Arab country.
